Sunday is our favorite day as a congregation because on Sundays we demonstrate our love for God and for people in a corporate way. Our gatherings consist of passionate musical worship, a relevant and practical message from the Bible and the building of relationships with one another.
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? We understand the many questions that may arise as one visits a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or stop by our Visitor Table in the main lobby upon your arrival.
What is a worship service like?
We strive to have our attenders passionately engage in worship experiences. To achieve this we utilize an eclectic mix of live music and media. We strive to encourage Christ-Centered and transformational worship experiences. We value:
What time do the services begin?
Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. and 10:45 A.M.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing jeans and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in.
How do I get to CCAC?
Community Christian Alliance Church is located at 18827 Roscoe Blvd., Northridge between Reseda and Tampa Blvd. Map.
Where should I park?
The church parking lot has 2 main entrances. Although we have several spots reserved for visitors, you may park in any available spot. During busier times, parking on Roscoe Blvd. may be your best bet.
Where do my children go?
Our Nursery, Sunday School and Junior Church are the perfect place for infants through fifth graders to go while you attend service. If you take advantage of the Nursery program, your children will be checked in, and you will receive a pager which will help you stay connected to your child throughout your visit at CCAC. This pager is used discreetly by the Nursery workers to notify parents if help is needed with their child.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider CCAC your home church, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to the ministry of the church. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can take advantage of our online giving system.
I have hearing problems. Is there any special assistance?
Yes! For those who are hearing impaired, we have special hearing devices that you can wear that will allow you to control the volume. If you think this would be beneficial to you, pick one up at the Sound Booth in the Main Sanctuary.
