Horizon is a unique fellowship of CCAC where post-college/ working young adults come to seek, understand, and build a firm foundation in the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 7:24-27), and learn how to glorify God in the workplace or wherever He places them (Matthew 5:16).
We look to reach out to the Christian millennial during this transitional period of life by providing a friendly environment where seekers and believers can ask and discuss questions about God and faith, where lives can be examined with eternal perspective, and where a personal relationship with Christ and Christ-centered relationships with others can be built and nurtured.
Horizon meets Thursday at 7:30 P.M. A typical meeting usually begins with musical worship and prayer, followed by Bible study, Christian book study, or sermon series. We have also started offering various workshops on theology, evangelism, and apologetics to help our members be equipped in and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). The meeting ends with small group, where reflection, prayers, and life are shared.
Every month or so we will have a social event, which is also an opportunity for members to invite friends, co-workers, or family members who may be interested in joining the fellowship. Our past social events include karaoke night, dim sum, holiday potlucks, beach day, and hiking trip. We also volunteer with the Children's Hunger Fund, and are looking into other volunteer programs to become more involved in the community.
We encourage you to check us out! Horizon Coordinators: Tina Ling and Timothy Ketenjian, contact us today to find out more about Horizon!
