ABOUT waves of gratitude 2.0
Hello CCAC Family,
God has richly blessed and led us over the many decades. As a reminder of God’s “Ripples of Grace”, God blessed us with the St. Stephen's Church in 2018 through the generous support of our congregation, the Ripples of Grace Fundraiser (2009-2012), and the sale of the Roscoe Blvd campus (2020). We completed an extensive 3-phase remodel (Phase 1-3) and reconstruction project of the St. Stephen's Church in 2019. CCAC moved in 2019 and has been growing and blessed by God over these three years.
As you may know, we needed to delay Phase 4 for three years due to COVID-19 and put development on pause. We have been growing into our new facility well and want to invest in CCAC’s future growth. During 2023-2025, we had the Waves of Gratitude Capital Campaign that was instrumental in helping the church during a period of building plan and permit submissions and approvals. The faithfulness of our church to give to the building fund during these years helped us get to where we are today.
Now with the approval of the building permit, the time is right to begin this expansion and beautification project with a growing need for classrooms, staff offices, fellowship space and security. Lord willing, through the generous giving and sacrifice of our CCAC family, we will see this vision of Phase 4 realized through the Living Waters of Hope Capital Campaign.
The LIVING WATERS OF HOPEfocuses our hearts on the true living water that Jesus promises to all who believe. This is a season of spiritual investment because we want everyone to come to Jesus and be satisfied in Him.
What is the vision of Phase 4? Our mission is to transform our world and community by being disciples who make disciples who make disciples. The vision of this two fold project will advance the ministry of outreach and discipleship to children, adults, and families.
There are two parts to this project:

Give of your treasure
Why should I give to this project?
To benefit the church, you and future generations.
We are stewards of his money and called to give to the local church; the primary place of encouraging and equipping Christians for gospel ministry.
Your giving stores up treasures in heaven and not on earth; you will be rewarded in eternity.
Lastly, your giving is a legacy that will be passed on to future generations of disciples. Ultimately, our giving gives glory to Christ!
When will we start construction and how will we fund this?
We are aiming to start construction in early 2026 .
We will use up to $2M from our Building and Savings.
We have been approved by the Orchard Alliance Fund for a $3 Million Bridge Construction Loan at 6.59 percent over 30 years.
Being debt adverse, our gifts and pledges will pay off this Bridge Loan as soon as possible.
Is it possible for CCAC to self-fund this loan to save interest on the Orchard?
Yes, this may allow individuals to voluntarily lend their money to CCAC for building purposes that the church commits to repay over an agreed upon term and interest rate. Any inquiries about helping in this way can be directed to the church office.
Who will be doing the project?
The GB has selected Staples Construction, a design-build company, based on their reputation, professionalism, experience, cost, and recommendations. To date, they have helped us with extensive value engineering designs.
Can I give stock and real estate?
Yes, this can be a prudent part of your financial tax planning. Please consult with your accountant and Dave Lew, our church Treasurer, for recommendations.
