Erick LohSenior Pastor
[email protected] I was born in Seattle, but I've lived in the Los Angeles area for most of my life. I graduated with an electrical engineering degree from UCLA, where I met my beautiful wife, Amy. After getting married in 2012, we moved to Kentucky to attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 2015 and came back to be on staff with CCAC in 2016. Prior to vocational ministry, I worked in the IT industry for nine years and also served in college campus ministry for three years. Amy and I are grateful parents to our son, Isaiah, and our daughter, Isabel. By the grace of God, I was saved in first grade through my parents sharing the gospel with me. I felt the call to ministry in college as I began to teach and disciple younger believers. I am passionate about teaching God’s Word and helping others to understand it, know God through it, and practice it in their own lives. I desire to build a community of Christians who are zealous for the glory of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ, and who love each other genuinely and deeply. I love my wife, my son, studying the Scriptures, drinking good coffee, playing basketball, reading, and the Seattle Seahawks. |
PRESTON LEECollege & Youth Pastor
[email protected] Preston was born in Austin, Texas, but when he was eight, his family moved to Taiwan. After high school, Preston moved back to the States for college, and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Philosophy degree. 2017 was a big year- Preston finished up his Master of Divinity from the Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, and he joined the CCAC family as the youth pastor. Preston married his lovely wife, Rachel in the summer of 2021 and they currently live in Granada Hills- just a block away from church! At an early age, Preston came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, largely due to the faithfulness and example of his parents. It was in college when Preston started working with the youth, and he has not stopped since. There are many questions that students wrestle with in their formative years, and his heart is to walk with the students through these issues. His passion is for students to build a firm foundation- to turn to God and to view His Word highly. When he gets a chance, Preston enjoys his time reading, listening to podcasts and country music, trying to perfect his steak, and getting his hopes crushed by the Dallas Cowboys. |
Johnson PangExecutive Pastor of Discipleship
[email protected] Johnson was raised in the San Fernando Valley and grew up at CCAC. God graciously saved Johnson through the ministry of CCAC, and he saw the truths of the Bible lived out in the church family. Johnson counts it as a tremendous privilege to minister God's Word where he grew up. After graduating at UCLA with a degree in Economics, Johnson worked as an accountant. But he soon enrolled in The Master's Seminary for a Master of Divinity in order to pursue full time ministry. He has also received a ThM (Master of Theology) and PhD at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Johnson is blessed with a wonderful wife in Emily. The Lord has brought them on many adventures through living in Louisville, Baltimore, and now back in Los Angeles. Along the way, God has given them three children and taken one home. It is Johnson's hope that wherever God places him, God would use him and his family so that others would have "ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus" (Phil 1:26). |
