Missions at CCAC places a priority on supporting church planting and Bible translating efforts among those people/language groups who are unreached. This term “unreached” refers to ethnolinguistically distinct groups of people that lack a reproducible Christian church, the Bible in their mother tongue and in which Gospel evangelism is not possible because of such low numbers of true Christ followers.
Going to these unreached groups is our missions priority because, even though Christ commands us in Matthew 28:19 “make disciples of all nations”, this work remains incomplete and this is a marginalized effort in the world of missions, receiving less than 3% of global missions resources.
The English missions committee meets monthly to pray for our long-term workers and discuss budgeting, mobilizing and education efforts.
Please contact missions committee chair and elder, Richard Yook ([email protected]) if you have questions or are interested in finding out what God’s role may be for you in the Great Commission.
